AP Studio Art Portfolio 2024

The Studio Art Exam lets students showcase their creativity through a portfolio of original artwork. With sections on Sustained Investigation, Selected Works, and either 2D/3D Design or Drawing, students can demonstrate their skills across various mediums. This exam helps prepare students for college-level art and builds a strong portfolio for future artistic pursuits.

Sustained Investigation

The inquiry that guided my sustained investigation was: How do I convey the impact and importance of movement in the day-to-day lives of the mundane? Growing up in a military family, my life was uprooted many times. It was through these experiences that I began to notice the significance of even the most mundane aspects of living. In this SI, I choose to focus on the movement portion. I attempted to show the most minuscule and seemingly insignificant aspects of how movement seems to influence and guide all of society.
